Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington resides in the United States and is a Greek-American author, syndicated writer of columns as well as a businesswoman. She is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Thrive Global, as well as the author of 15 books. Her move from Greece to England at the age of 16 and received an MA at Cambridge University in Economics. Arianna became famous during 2003 when she volunteered in the California recall election in the place of Governor Davis. Alongside that, she was also the leader of the Detroit initiative to promote fuel-efficient vehicles. Forbes listed her 12th in their list of the Top Popular Media Women. Guardian also included the Huffington Post on their top 100 list in 2010. AOL acquired The Huffington Post from AOL in 2011. In 2012, she became the President of AOL's media group. It was comprised of several AOL-owned properties, such as Engadget AOL Style List and Patch Media. Elli was born to Konstantinos Stasinopoulos as well as Elli, who are both journalist and management consultants.
